Overview
Magazine Training International (MTI) is a non-profit mission whose passion is to see lives changed as vital Christian magazines in Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe and around the world make an impact for Christ on their communities and nations. Our goal is to provide professional training and resources in magazine management, editing, design, writing, and digital publishing to those God has called to the ministry of Christian magazine publishing.
Training resources available from MTI include manuals that can be used as self-study guides or in group settings. These manuals are available in print or in PDF format. Full 14- and 12-hour-courses on magazine management and magazine design are available on two DVD sets. Our website (www.magazinetraining.com) provides free downloadable ebooks, training videos, and samples of a wide variety of forms and tools magazines need to operate successfully. We also offer free webinars on timely topics from publishing professionals six times each year. All webinars are recorded and are available in our archives. Individuals who would like to take time for more in-depth study with feedback from an instructor can enroll in online courses offered twice a year. Discounts on the online course tuition fee may be available upon request.
MTI conducts on-site training conferences in locations around the globe. In 2018, we will begin offering training in Africa. Please check our website (http://magazinetraining.com/events/) for a list of all training opportunities available on-site and online.
The Magazine Directory, also available on our website, is a listing of over 240 Christian magazines. Visitors can search for magazines based on purpose, target audience, country, language, and region. Christian magazines are welcome to create a free listing at any time. Each listing includes the magazine cover, a detailed description, and contact information.
